Happy 2nd Birthday, Jet!

It seems almost impossible that my little Whippet brother is two years old already.

Alas...it's true. We celebrated yesterday in Min Pin and Whippet style...with doggie ice cream!

Yum.

Mumma said that Jet is three times bigger than me, so he gets three times the food. I don't like her math.

We waited with anticipation. I made sure that I would have a head start.

Then finally...the deliciousness was ours!

Happy birthday, little brother. Your big sister loves you. But not enough to wear a stupid cone hat.

Our Staycation

Daddy and Mumma said they needed some "alone time" so they put Gramma in charge of us for a week.

Me and Jet and Gramma had our own little stay-cation. Complete with multiple daily walks and scheduled play time.

I was second in charge.

To keep little brother in line.

Mumma and Daddy said so.

They needed to get away and see palm trees.

And put their feet in the sand.

And hike up mountains.

So I allowed them to go.

And since I promised I would keep Jetty under control...

I made sure he didn't get away with anything.

Welcome back Daddy and Mumma. We missed you. But we love when Gramma is here.

They Got Hitched!

We knew it was getting close to the big day. Mumma and Daddy kept us updated to make sure we knew what was happening.

Our Grandmas and the bridesmaids spent so much time making centerpieces!

Mumma made this to pin onto Daddy's suit.

And she made this to carry around all day.

It was getting closer and closer...

Everyone helped out to get the barn ready for a big party once Daddy and Mumma were officially married.

The decorations went up...

The barn was set...

And before we knew it, our Mumma and Daddy went from this...

...to this.

They danced for the first time after becoming husband and wife.

And the chalkboard was updated.

Mumma let me sniff her flowers.

Jetty thought they were as tasty as any flowers he has nibbled on.

Now Daddy has a tungsten circle around his finger. And a new time-telling thing.

The time-telling thing is good for putting a spotlight on stuff. Like Jet's gumdrop nose.

Mumma has a new circle around her finger too. It means we're a forever family.

It's Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day, Daddy.

We made this video for you.

It's mostly us. Well, all us, actually.

But we know you like us. So this is for you...

Min Pin Play Time... Whippet Distraction?

So when Mumma brings out the purple ball...I know it's PLAY TIME ! ! !

But for some reason, little brother Jet didn't want to play with us...

I'm ready, Mumma! Throw it!

Meanwhile...Jetty was still glued to the front window. His Whippet haunches were tense.

While I was outside showing the purple ball who was boss.

Jet held his position.

Wheeeeeee! I am also the boss of sticks.

Jetty's attention was still riveted on something outside. Complete with a full-contact nose-smoosh.

He's missing out on all this backyard fun!

What on earth could he care so much about??

Only 36 More Days...

Mumma said that she and Daddy made a special trip a couple days ago.

Daddy signed a piece of paper.

Then Mumma signed it.

So that in thirty-six days, we can officially be a forever family!

I've inspected this piece of paper. It does appear to be a normal piece of paper. But just in case...

...we've been guarding it.
